“It’s completely organic. It’s homegrown. It’s 100% Hamtramck.”- Steve Hughes of Public Pool art space.
The 6th annual Hamtramck Neighborhood Arts Festival (HNAF) kicks off Friday, October 9th at Popps Packing with the opening reception by Hamtramcks own, Jessica Frelinghuysen & resumes Saturday, October 10 at 12pm with a heroic bloody mary brunch at BUMBOS. From there the festival takes over the city as artists open their home studios and music rises from backyards and empty lots.
Festival maps will be available at the kick off event at Popps Packing on October 9th and at other participating venues including 9338 Campau Gallery and Public Pool. A link to the map will be available on the HNAF FB page.
